When someone visits www.thelondonbeerfactory.com we use a third party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to better understand things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google to make, any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
When you use The Barrel Project Wi-Fi we may collect data about:
Your device; the volume of data which you use; the websites and applications which you access; and your usage by access time and frequency.
As part of the registration process for our monthly e-newsletter, we collect personal information. We use that information for a couple of reasons: to tell you about what’s going on at the brewery, new beers and products; to contact you if we need to obtain or provide additional information; to check our records are right and to check every now and then that you’re happy and satisfied. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organisations and businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using MailChimp’s built in tools to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to our mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer (details below).

The London Beer Factory Black Box Payments and Deliveries
Your London Beer Factory Black Box Subscription will be shipped on a monthly basis. The London Beer Factory Black Box Subscription payments will be taken on the same day each month.
All payments are taken via Paypal, we do not hold any financial data or card information on file and the payment provider is completely secure.
You will be entered into a regular credit or debit card payment schedule – you can cancel at any time by logging into your account at thelondonbeerfactory.com and choosing to manage subscription > cancel subscription.
If the card we have on file is about to expire we will email you asking for new card details to avoid any interruptions in service.
If the card we have on file is declined by your card issuer we will reattempt payment again after 1 day, 3 days and 5 days from the initial failed payment. After this time we will automatically cancel your subscription.
Cancellations & Payment Holiday
You can cancel your monthly payments at any time.
To cancel, just go to your The London Beer Factory Account page > The London Beer Factory Black Box Subscription and select Cancel Subscription. As long as this is done before the payment is taken for that month it will be immediately cancelled. If placed after the payment has been taken it will stop from the following month’s payment.
You can also choose to take a month’s payment holiday. If you choose to do this your payment will be put on hold for 1 month only and will restart automatically the following month. This will delay your free loyalty merchandise by 1 month.
Change of Details & Subscription
You can change your details at any time by going to your Account Page and updating your name, address, email and phone number information by a simple form.
If this information is entered between 1st of the month and the shipment date it may not be possible to alter the delivery address. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to amend details to a delivery address when it is coming up to the shipment date and we will try to help. Alternatively visit our Contact page.
Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged reasons not due to our error
Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
